Adaptive Charging Algorithm
The Blue Smart Charger uses a microprocessor-controlled, adaptive charging algorithm that automatically adjusts the charging process to the type of battery usage. The five charging phases are:
- Bulk: Constant Current Phase
- Absorption: Constant Voltage Phase
- Recondition: Regeneration Phase
- Float: Float Voltage Phase
- Storage: Storage Mode
Storage Mode
Storage mode is activated if no discharge occurs within 24 hours. The float voltage is lowered to minimize gas evolution and corrosion, thereby extending the lifespan of your battery.
Differences From The Blue Smart IP65 Family
The Blue Smart IP67 devices offer the best possible protection with a higher degree of protection. Additionally, the IP67 charging algorithm comes with five stages, while the IP65 series uses seven stages.
