Three-Stage Charging Characteristic with Temperature Compensation
The Centaur charger operates efficiently with a three-stage charging characteristic. Initially, it charges with a constant current (Bulk) until the charging current drops to 70% of the nominal value. This is followed by a four-hour constant voltage phase, followed by a maintenance charging phase. The charging voltage is automatically adjusted to the temperature to ensure optimal performance.
Diverse Application Possibilities
The Centaur 12/20 is versatile and supports various battery types. The default setting is intended for gel batteries, but with simple adjustments on the DIP switch, AGM or lead-acid batteries can also be charged without any issues.
