Protection for Your Battery
The Smart BatteryProtect not only protects against overload, but also ensures that your batteries last longer. Most voltage converters or charge controllers do have undervoltage protection, but this often only takes effect at values that are too low. With this device, you can individually set the cut-off threshold to optimally protect your batteries.
Cut-off Thresholds
The recommended cut-off threshold varies depending on the battery type:
- AGM/Gel Batteries: 11,5V
- Lithium Batteries (LiFePo4): 12,0V
Please note that it is advisable to inquire with your battery manufacturer about the optimal cut-off thresholds.
