How Does a Balcony Power Plant Work?

The inverter is ideally attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected with the solar connector. With the 5m AC Connection Cable, the system is connected directly to the socket. To use the generated solar power, no special settings are required. If electricity from local sources is already available, the devices use this first and supplement with grid power if necessary. The connected batteries store excess generated energy, so you can use your solar power even at night or on cloudy days.

Balcony Power Plants in Germany

Currently, there are no specific laws in Germany for the generation of solar power for self-consumption. The limit of a maximum of 600W AC PV power can be fed into existing socket circuits without overload. The operation of a Balcony Power Plant via the usual Schuko socket is generally not forbidden, but registration with the Federal Network Agency is mandatory.
