Adaptive Charging Algorithm
The adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm ensures efficient and safe charging:
- Constant Current
- Constant Voltage
- Float Charge
For lead-acid batteries, the absorption time is shortened for shallow discharges to prevent overcharging. In case of deep discharge, the constant voltage duration is automatically extended to fully charge the battery. For lithium batteries, the absorption time is preset to 2 hours.
Remote On/Off Switch
The Orion-Tr Smart can be connected to a remote on/off switch or a relay contact. This gives you control over your system without having to be directly at the device.
