ON/OFF Control Unit for Votronic MobilPOWER Power Inverters
With the ON/OFF control unit, the Votronic MobilPOWER power inverters of the SMI Sinus series can be conveniently and automatically switched on and off. Use the D+ connection of the alternator to ensure smooth control. Alternatively, you can also apply a 12V or 24V battery voltage via a main switch, timer, or a simple on/off switch to the On/Off terminal.
Functionality
The control panel on the inverter is no longer necessary, as control now takes place via the ON/OFF control unit. If you wish to continue using the control panel as a display panel, you can place it separately from the device using the included 5 m control cable.
When the control input of the ON/OFF control unit is supplied with voltage, the inverter starts after a waiting time of 3 seconds. Switching off also occurs with a time delay of approx. 3 seconds. Please note that the inverter is started in continuous operation and the manual switch function on the control panel is limited. However, in case of an error, the device can be reset and put back into operation via this switch. If the control voltage at the D+ control input is removed, the inverter switches off automatically.
