Quattro-II 24/5000/120-50 230V from Victron Energy
The Quattro-II 24/5000/120-50 230V (MPN QUA242505010) from Victron Energy is a powerful combination of inverter and charger, similar to the MultiPlus-II. This elegant device can use two AC inputs and automatically connects to the active source. With numerous functions, including a true sine wave inverter and an adaptive charging function, the Quattro-II offers flexibility and performance for your energy needs.
Key Performance Features
- Device combination of inverter with transfer switch and 120A battery charger
- Purest 230V sine wave voltage and clean 50Hz frequency
- Two AC inputs and outputs with integrated transfer switch
- Autonomous operation in case of power failure
- Supports three-phase operation (3 identical units required) with up to 72kW/90kVA inverter power
- Over 2100A charging capacity
- Integrated battery-motor for hybrid systems
- PowerControl for optimizing power supply with limited AC
- PowerAssist for extended usage possibilities of generators or shore connections
- Programmable relay for various applications
- Very high efficiency and low self-consumption
AC Inputs and Outputs
The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC sources, such as a shore power connection and a generator. The main output ensures an uninterrupted power supply. In case of a power outage, the Quattro-II automatically switches over and supplies the connected consumers within less than 20 milliseconds. The second output supplies power only when one of the inputs is active, ideal for consumers that must not discharge the battery.
PowerControl and PowerAssist
The PowerControl function allows regulating the maximum current to avoid overloads. The Quattro-II only uses the "excess" current for battery charging, while the PowerAssist function ensures that during peak loads, additional energy is provided from the battery.
Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
In a configuration that feeds energy back into the grid, the Quattro-II can be set accordingly with the VEConfigure tool to ensure compliance with the grid code.
Remote Configuration and Monitoring
By installing a Cerbo GX or another GX product, you can establish an internet connection. Operating data can be stored and displayed on the VRM website. This allows you to remotely monitor systems and change settings.
