Victron Argodiode 140-3AC 140A 3 Batteries Isolation Diode
Victron Argo 140-3AC Battery Isolator
The Victron Argo 140-3AC Battery Isolator (MPN ARG140301020R) is the ideal solution to enable the charge distribution from one power source, such as an alternator, to up to three separate battery banks. With this innovative technology, you can charge your batteries independently of each other, without a connection between them being required. This not only simplifies the installation, but also saves costs.
Technical Features
Show Details
- Maximum Charge Current: 140A
- Supports up to 3 Batteries or Battery Banks
- Minimum Voltage Drop of approx. 0.3 V at low currents and approx. 0.45 V at nominal current
- Modern Shottky Diodes for improved efficiency
- Current-limiting connection for the start-up excitation of generators
- Includes Compensation Diode for increasing the output voltage of the alternator
Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art Shottky diodes, voltage loss is minimized. Without such a measure, incomplete charging and premature aging of your batteries could occur.
Current Flow Regulating Alternator Connection
Some generators require a DC voltage at the B+ terminal for start-up excitation. The Victron Argo 140-3AC ensures that the current flow between generator and battery functions smoothly by providing a special connection for start-up excitation.
