The Smart BatteryProtect from Victron Energy offers effective protection for 12V and 24V batteries of all kinds. This smart version comes with an integrated Bluetooth module that allows a connection to your smartphone or tablet. This way you can easily program the desired switch-on and switch-off thresholds or select from 9 predefined values.

Versatile Application

The BatteryProtect can also be used as a charge disconnector between a battery charger and a lithium battery. With a wide operating voltage range of 6-35V, it is extremely flexible to use. An external switch or alarm can also be connected, which makes the BP-65 Smart the ideal battery monitor.

Optimal Battery Protection

The Smart BatteryProtect ensures that your batteries are optimally protected and their lifespan is maximized. Many voltage converters or charge controllers offer undervoltage protection, which often only activates at low values. By being able to set the switch-off threshold higher, you can extend the lifespan of your costly batteries.

Individual Switch-off Thresholds

Depending on the battery type, there are different minimum battery voltages that should be maintained to avoid damage. For AGM/Gel batteries, we recommend a switch-off threshold of 11.5V. For lithium batteries (LiFePO4), the switch-off threshold should be set to 12.0V. Always consult your battery manufacturer for the appropriate switch-off threshold.
