The Victron EM540 (MPN REL200100100) is a highly developed electricity meter, which was specially designed for the monitoring of three-phase operating modes. No matter whether you use a PV inverter, an AC generator, or an inverter, with this device you can measure the power and energy of your entire system directly in the distribution box. Compared to the EM24, the EM540 offers a higher sampling rate, which makes it the ideal complement for a Victron inverter/charger.

Connection Options

The EM540 offers you two practical possibilities for connection to a GX device:

• Cable connection via RS485-to-USB interface (selectable cable lengths: 1.8m or 5m)
• Wireless connection via ZigBee-to-USB or ZigBee-to-RS485 converter
