Offgridtec
Switching Station For Mains Priority Switching US-12 230V 12A 2700W 230VAC
Versatile All-Rounder
The automatic transfer switch enables you to seamlessly operate 230V loads from two different power sources. Typically, these are an inverter or the public power grid.
Priority Switching
With the priority switching, you can determine which power source should be preferentially used. If this power source fails, it automatically switches to the backup power source.
High-Quality Relays
The use of high-quality relays guarantees a particularly precise switching threshold on the one hand, and on the other hand optimally protects the inverter from backfeeding of external voltage.
Recommended Applications
- Off-Grid Solar Systems
- Service and Utility Vehicles
- Motorhomes and Caravans
- Sailboats and Other Watercraft

Application Examples
Example 1 – Mains Priority Switching
The 230 V AC mains is connected to input AC2 (higher priority). This conserves the battery and simultaneously protects the inverter from external voltage. Only when AC2 loses power, input AC1 switches on the power supply via battery and inverter.
Example 2 – Inverter Priority Switching
The inverter is connected to input AC2 (higher priority). The power is primarily drawn from the battery via the inverter (e.g., when using off-grid solar systems). Only when the inverter shuts down due to deep discharge protection, the 230 V AC mains is switched on via input AC1.
Scope of Delivery
- 1x Automatic Transfer Switch
