Victron Energy AC Sensor 40A (CSE000100000)
The AC sensor from Victron Energy is a simple and effective solution for measuring AC current, power, and energy of a PV inverter. With a maximum input current of 40A, this external sensor is perfect for your energy monitoring.
Features
- Measurement of AC current and power (VA).
- Calculation of energy (kWh).
- Easy connection to Multi or Quattro inverters.
- Transfer of values to the VRM website or a GX device.
Compatibility
Hardware Requirements for Multi and Quattro
- The Multi or Quattro must have the new microprocessor. Make sure that the 7-digit firmware version number starts with 26 or 27.
- The TEMP Sense input of all Multi and Quattro is suitable for the AC sensor.
- For Multiplus-II hardware version 0 to 8, the AUX input is located on the RJ12 connector, Pin 1 and 5. In later versions, the AUX input is available again as a normal connection.
- The Multi or Quattro must be connected to the VE.Bus port of the Color Control GX. The display does not work if the VE.Can port is connected via a VE.Bus-to-VE.Can interface cable.
Installation
- Route one of the AC cables of the PV inverter through the AC sensor.
- Connect the sensor in the same phase to the AUX or TEMP sensor input of an inverter, Multi or Quattro, in which it is measured by this current sensor.
- Configure the power range with the DIP switches and select a power that is equal to or higher than the maximum expected power. For example, for a 4-kW PV installation, the correct DIP switch setting is 5kW.
- For multi-phase installations: Add an AC sensor for each phase of the PV inverter and wire it in the same phase to the Multi.
Scope of Delivery
