Installation Instructions

How to attach the plug to the cable:

1. Unscrew the plug and slide the housing onto the cable. The grommet can be cut to size if needed.
2. Insulate the cable. Make sure the cable ends are clean and not corroded. If necessary, cut back the cable until clean wire is visible. Do not solder the ends of the cables!
3. Insert the cables into the correct, color-coded terminal openings on the back of the inlet. Tighten the terminal screws to a torque. Make sure that no cable insulation is under a terminal.
4. Tighten the strain relief.
5. Slide the housing over the plug. If necessary, apply a small amount of soap to the cable so that the plastic protection slides easily. Tighten the mounting screws firmly.
