Function of the Cyrix-Li-Load 12/24V-120A

This high-performance microprocessor-controlled relay becomes active when one of the connected batteries reaches a certain voltage value, indicating that it is being charged. If the voltage falls below the float voltage value, the Cyrix disconnects the batteries again to prevent discharge. The Cyrix Battery Couplers are an excellent alternative to isolation diodes, as they cause almost no voltage loss and thus the output voltage of generators or chargers does not need to be increased.

How Does the Cyrix-Li-Load 12/24V 120A Work?

The Cyrix-Li-Load switches off as soon as its control input reaches the "free floating" state. If the battery voltage rises again after switching off (which happens if no further loads are connected), the BMS output is activated and the Cyrix switches on again after 30 seconds. After three unsuccessful switch-on attempts, the Cyrix remains switched off until the voltage has risen above 13 V (or 26 V or 52 V) for at least 30 seconds, indicating that the battery is being recharged.
