Despite potentially higher acquisition costs compared to AGM or GEL batteries, the investment in Victron's LFP batteries proves worthwhile in the long term. With a lifespan of up to 5000 cycles, it surpasses the best lead-acid batteries many times over. In addition, the LFP 12.8/50 convinces with significant space and weight savings of 70% each. The high energy efficiency of 92% is particularly important for off-grid solar and wind power systems.

The LFP Lithium batteries from Victron Energy can be effortlessly integrated into many common applications. They have already proven themselves particularly in the mobile sector. Their easy charging and insensitivity to irregular charging also make them increasingly popular in land applications.

Parallel and Series Connection

Victron Energy Smart Lithium batteries can be connected in series, parallel, or in combination to build a battery bank for system voltages of 12V, 24V, or 48V. A maximum of 20 batteries can be used in a system, which allows for energy storage of up to 84kWh in a 12V system.

Monitoring with VictronConnect App

With the VictronConnect App, you always have control over your LiFePO4 batteries. Via Bluetooth, you can conveniently monitor cell voltages, temperatures, and alarm status. This function allows you to quickly detect and localize any problems such as cell imbalance.

Important Note

For safe use, the use of an additional Battery Management System (BMS) is essential. The BMS protects the battery cells by interrupting the load when the voltage drops below 2.8V and stopping the charging process when the voltage rises above 3.75V. Choose between the Lynx Smart BMS 500, the VE.Bus BMS or the VE.Bus BMS V2.
