The Victron Energy VE.Bus BMS V2 (MPN: BMS300200200) is the latest generation of the VE.Bus BMS, specifically developed for the Victron Lithium Smart Batteries (LFP-Smart) with 12.8V and 25.6V. It protects every single cell of a LiFePO4 battery from overvoltage, undervoltage, and overtemperature, thereby ensuring safe use.

Compatibility And Flexibility

The VE.Bus BMS V2 is suitable for 12V, 24V, and 48V battery banks and operates within an operating voltage range of 9 to 70 VDC. It is ideal for use with Victron LiFePO4 batteries, which have built-in cell balancing, temperature, and voltage controls. Up to 20 batteries can be networked together, which allows a maximum of 84 kWh in a 12V system and 102 kWh in 24V or 48V systems.

Communication And Connection Options

The BMS can be connected via an RJ45 UTP cable to MultiPlus, Quattro, or Phoenix inverters. Inversion is deactivated on cell undervoltage, and charging is interrupted on overvoltage or overtemperature.

Additionally, GX devices (e.g., Cerbo GX) or a Digital Multi Control (DMC) panel can be connected via the "Remote Control Panel" connection, to remotely control the system's switching status.
