The backup systems are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. With lithium-ion batteries from Pylontech, a MultiPlus-II inverter and a Cerbo GX MK2 for system monitoring from Victron Energy, you can ensure your energy supply even during power outages.

UPS Function For Uninterrupted Operation

Thanks to the integrated UPS function, the MultiPlus remains active even in the event of a grid failure and supplies the connected devices. The switchover takes less than 20 milliseconds, which guarantees uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices.

For setting up an Energy Storage System (ESS), you need an energy meter with a connection cable:

  • Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter 3-Phase Electricity Meter 75A/Phase
  • 5m Victron RJ45 UTP Cable

With this electricity meter, you can perform a grid-parallel installation and monitor your energy consumption. Thanks to phase compensation, the 3-phase meter is also suitable for 1-phase systems.

Important: The meter must be purchased in advance of the system to be included in the ESS pre-configuration.
