Complete Solar System Kits

Complete solar system kits are an ideal way to produce a portion of your household electricity yourself and significantly reduce your overall electricity costs. In addition to a solar module and a suitable micro-inverter, the systems contain everything needed for connection to your home's electrical grid and, if required, for mounting on a balcony railing or roof. The kit is designed for side-by-side module mounting. For individual module mounting options, our support team is available to assist you with advice and practical help.

How does a solar system work?

The compact solar system consists of a solar module and the matching micro-inverter for feeding into your home's electrical grid. The inverter is ideally attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected to the solar module via the solar connector. The AC cable is connected via the inverter's Betteri connector and routed directly to a suitable outlet. No special settings are required to use the generated solar power in the house's electrical network. If electricity from local sources is already available, household appliances will first use that and then supplement with grid power as needed.

Luxen 430W Luxneri Series 5 Full Black Bifacial

Hoymiles HMS-1600-4T Microinverter Module Inverter

The HMS-1600-4T is the perfect micro-inverter for your balcony power plant. This compact lightweight (only 5.56kg) is suitable for solar power production with up to four solar panels, each with a power of 320W to 540W+. It is suitable for long operating hours and wide PV module application due to its very low start-up voltage (only 22V) and extremely wide DC input operating voltage range (16-60V).

Optional Mounting Systems

The solar systems are optionally available with or without mounting kits. Mounting sets are available for:

• Balcony railing: with suitable C-hooks
• Flat roof: inclination angle 10° - 60°
• Beaver tail roof: with beaver tail roof hooks
• Tile roof: with 3-way adjustable roof hooks

Legal Notes on Solar Systems in Germany

Currently, there is no law or regulation in Germany that specifically governs the generation of solar power for purely personal consumption. The limit of a maximum of 600W AC PV power is a reserve value that, according to the current VDE standard, can be fed into an existing socket circuit of a house without overloading it. Nothing is described for independent circuits without additional loads.

Every electrical installation should be carried out in accordance with VDE standards. However, the operation of such a solar system via a standard Schuko socket is generally not prohibited. Registration with the Federal Network Agency is mandatory. However, no cases of fines for non-registration of such solar systems are known, nor are insurmountable problems with grid operators. Compliance with and implementation of standards and obligations rests with the system operator. Much technical and legal information on this can already be found on relevant websites.
