The Victron VE.Can to CAN-Bus BMS cable (MPN ASS030720050) is the perfect solution to connect a CAN-Bus-enabled battery that is not from Victron to a Victron GX device. With a length of 5 meters, this cable offers sufficient leeway for flexible installation.

Installation

Installation is simple:

1. Plug the side labeled “CAN-Bus BMS” into the battery.
2. Connect the other side labeled “VE.Can” either to the VE.Can port of the GX device or the BMS-Can port.

Both port types of a GX device can be configured to work with a third-party CAN-Bus battery connected to a BMS. For configuration information, please refer to your battery's manual.
