The Buck-Boost DC-DC Voltage Converter from Victron Energy (MPN ORI303050000) is the ideal solution for charging your 12V/24V service battery in vehicles with an intelligent alternator. These alternators, used in modern Euro 5 and 6 engines, do not always deliver the optimal charging current. The Victron converter ensures that your auxiliary battery is always properly charged by eliminating high and low voltages.

Detection System

An integrated system prevents deep discharge of the starter battery by detecting when the engine is running. Alternatively, the converter can also be activated via a programmable input (D+, CANbus or (+)15 terminal).

Full Programmability

Thanks to a user-friendly PC application, the converter can be easily adjusted. (A USB Type A to USB Type B cable is required). You have the option to charge the auxiliary battery via a 12V or 24V AC generator or the starter battery.

Charging Current and Input Current Limitation

The output current is determined by the following factors:

• Setting of the maximum charging current
• Setting of the maximum input current
• Limitation of the maximum operating temperature of the converter
