Robust Construction for Highest Demands
The Centaur 24/16 (3) impresses with its aluminum housing with epoxy powder coating and is thus protected against heat, moisture, and salty atmospheres. The stainless steel mounting parts ensure additional durability. Thanks to a special acrylic coating, the circuit boards are safely protected against corrosion.
Three-Stage Charging Curve with Temperature Compensation
The charger operates with a three-stage charging curve, providing a constant current (Bulk) until the charging current drops to 70% of the rated value. This is followed by a four-hour constant voltage phase, followed by a maintenance charging phase. The charging voltage is regulated by an internal temperature sensor, ensuring an optimal charging experience.
Flexibility in Using Battery Types
Various battery types can be used with the Centaur 24/16. The default setting refers to Gel batteries; other batteries such as lead-acid or AGM can be selected via a simple switch on the device.
