Intelligent Technology

The Cyrix-i automatically detects the applied system voltage, whereby a voltage loss is virtually eliminated. Unlike conventional isolation diodes, there is no need to increase the charging voltage at the alternator or charger to compensate for losses.

Priority Switching For The Starter Battery

Typically, the alternator is directly connected to the starter battery. The Cyrix-i only connects the other batteries for parallel charging when the starter battery has reached the required voltage.

Bidirectional Voltage Measurement And Power Supply

The Cyrix-i continuously measures the voltage values of the connected batteries and operates reliably even if one of the batteries has an undervoltage. In addition, unwanted switching during installation is prevented by the Cyrix-i not switching if the voltage at one of the battery terminals falls below certain values.

Emergency Functions

In an emergency, the Cyrix-i can be switched on via a push-button switch, remaining active for 30 seconds. In addition, there is a manual switch for parallel connection of the batteries, which is particularly helpful if the starter battery is empty or damaged.
