How Does the EasyPlus Work?

The EasyPlus is connected to batteries as well as a shore connection or generator. Via the control panel, you can set the maximum current. Consumers are divided into two groups: "Normal" consumers, such as kitchen appliances, can be supplied both from the shore connection/generator and via the inverter from the batteries. Consumers such as hot water boilers are operated exclusively via the generator or shore connection to protect the batteries.

PowerControl and PowerAssist

The PowerControl function enables optimal use of limited current from the shore connection or generator by redirecting excess current for battery charging. The PowerAssist function expands the possibilities of use by supplementing the power of other voltage sources to reduce the generator size during peak loads.

Automatic and Uninterruptible Switching

In case of a power outage or generator shutdown, a seamless switch to inverter operation occurs within less than 20 milliseconds. Thus, the power supply to electronic devices, such as computers, remains uninterrupted.

Integrated Battery Charger

The EasyPlus features an adaptable 4-stage charging characteristic: Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Storage. A microprocessor-controlled battery management system ensures that the optimal charging process for the respective battery type is automatically selected. The battery protection mode prevents damage from excessive gassing.
