The GX LTE 4G-E Mobile Communication Modem from Victron Energy (MPN GSM100100400) is a powerful communication device that allows you to easily monitor and control your solar system. Installation and Compatibility
To operate the GX LTE 4G-E modem, you need an active SIM card in mini-SIM format, which is inserted directly into the modem. This modem is compatible with all GX devices and requires the installation of Venus OS version 2.60 or newer.

GPS Functionality
The GX LTE 4G-E modem is equipped with an integrated GPS receiver. By installing the optional active GPS antenna, you can locate your system in the VRM portal and utilize geo-fencing features. The accessory part number for the active GPS antenna is GSM900200100.
Important Note
The GX LTE 4G-E modem provides only an internet connection for the above-mentioned GX system control units. There is no way to share the internet with laptops, phones, or other devices. If multiple devices need an internet connection, as is often the case on yachts or motorhomes, or if a reliable failover solution is required, the installation of a mobile router with corresponding functionality is recommended.
