Smart Battery Management System (BMS)

All battery parameters are managed fully automatically by the BMS. It independently detects the system voltage and the number of batteries, regardless of the circuit. The Lynx Smart BMS (available in the variants NG 500 A / 1000 A) is mandatory and must be purchased separately.

Via the VictronConnect app, a GX communication center, or the VRM portal, you can monitor the battery parameters in real-time, including cell status, voltages, currents, and temperatures. Firmware updates are performed automatically via the BMS.

Tasks of the BMS

  • Trigger a pre-alarm if the voltage of a battery cell drops below 3.0 V.
  • Disconnect the load as soon as the voltage of a battery cell drops below 2.8 V.
  • Interrupt the charging process if the voltage of a battery cell exceeds 3.6 V or the temperature is outside the permissible range.
