The Victron Lynx Distributor is a modular DC busbar that helps you to make your electrical distribution simple and efficient. With space for up to four DC fuses, it offers a clear overview of the status of each fuse.

How The Fuse Indicator Works

To use the LEDs for fuse indication, a connection to a Lynx Shunt is required. The Lynx Shunt supplies the Lynx Distributor circuit board with the necessary power supply (8V – 70V DC) and provides the required 5V (4.5V – 5.5V) current. The required RJ11 cable is included in the scope of delivery. The Lynx Shunt has two ports, both of which can be used.

In fully functional condition, only the central LED lights up green. If a fuse is defective or missing, the LEDs of the central and fuse circuits light up red. If you do not use all connection points in your DC distribution, dummy fuses may need to be installed to extinguish the red LEDs.

Fuses

The Lynx Distributor uses MEGA fuses. Please note that some MEGA fuses are designed for 36V only and are therefore suitable for 24V systems. For 48V systems, fuses with a rated voltage of 58/64V must be used.
