Adaptive 3-Stage Charging Algorithm

The charging algorithm consists of three phases: Constant Current, Constant Voltage, and Float. For lead-acid batteries, the charging time is shortened during shallow discharges to avoid overcharging. After a deep discharge, the constant voltage duration automatically extends to ensure that the battery is fully charged. For lithium batteries, the absorption time is set to 2 hours by default but can be adjusted.

Remote On/Off

The Orion Tr-Smart can be connected to a remote on/off switch or a relay contact. Alternatively, the terminals can be connected to the battery positive or negative pole to allow for easy control.
