Victron Energy Venus GX System Control Module

The Victron Energy Venus GX System Control Module (MPN BPP900400100) is your ideal partner for monitoring and controlling Victron-based power systems. It serves as the heart of an Energy Storage System (ESS) and enables simple and intuitive operation.

Main Features

Remote Console

Setup and monitoring are conveniently done via the Remote Console. You have the option to do this via the VRM, the built-in WiFi access point, or your local LAN/WiFi network.

Automatic Generator Start/Stop

Benefit from a flexible start/stop system based on charge, voltage, load, and other parameters. You can set quiet times and monthly test runs.

Internet Connection

The Venus GX can be connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Please note that it does not have an internal cellular modem and therefore no SIM card slot is available. Instead, use a standard GPRS or 3G router.

Tank Level Sensor Inputs

The resistive inputs for the tank level sensor can be connected to a corresponding tank sender. These ports are configurable for European (0 - 180 Ohm) or US tank senders (240 - 30 Ohm).

Data Logging

When the system is connected to the internet, all data is sent to the VRM Portal. If there is no internet connection, the Venus GX stores the data internally for up to 48 hours. By using a Micro-SD card or a USB stick, even more data can be stored, which can later be uploaded or analyzed offline.
