How does the Hyper 2000 work?
During the day: During the day, the Hyper converts the energy generated by the solar panels into AC power for your home. When excess solar power is generated that would be fed back into the grid, the Hyper 2000 directs this to the batteries for storage, thus reducing energy waste. This can be configured in the Zendure app or by using a compatible smart energy meter.
At night: At night, the Hyper then converts the stored energy into alternating current for your home, significantly improving energy efficiency. This reduces the waste of excess solar energy and helps you gain the greatest cost advantage from your system.
- If the power generation of the solar panels is higher than the set AC output power, the Hyper 2000 stores the surplus in the connected batteries.
- If the power generation of the solar panels is lower than the set AC output power, the total power generation of the modules is delivered to your home, and the battery is discharged to achieve the set AC output power.
- If there is no power generation from the solar panels, the Hyper 2000 uses the batteries to supply power to your home.
The Hyper system automatically recognizes additional Hyper devices and ensures seamless networking of up to three towers per phase. This increases the MPPT power to 5400W, and up to 23.04kWh of battery capacity is possible. With the help of a smart energy meter, the Hyper can minimize energy feed into the grid, thereby optimizing self-consumption. It can also adjust the AC output power. The Hyper 2000 supports the Zendure Satellite Monitor CT and the Satellite Plug, as well as the Shelly 3EM, Pro 3EM, and Plus Plug S devices.

Why choose Hyper 2000 over conventional balcony power plants?
Until now, batteries of mini PV systems could only be charged with solar energy. The Hyper inverter now offers the possibility to supply the batteries with solar or AC energy as needed and desired. With this intelligent energy management, you can use your balcony power plant even more efficiently and noticeably save on your electricity costs.
Bidirectional power
The bidirectional 1200W power can be used not only to power your home but also to store electricity from the grid. The intelligent anti-discharge technology ensures automatic use of grid power to maintain a reserve charge when there is not enough sunlight and the batteries are nearly empty. By drawing power from the grid during low-price periods and using stored energy when prices rise, you can significantly reduce your energy costs while maintaining a reliable power supply. For precise energy management, the AC power can be adjusted from 30-1200W in 1W steps with a fast response time of less than 3 seconds.
Time-of-use automation
The Zendure app provides you with real-time electricity price notifications. Users can set a target price and accordingly create a charging and discharging schedule. The system then automatically charges at low electricity prices and discharges at high prices to ensure cost-effective usage. This way, you can easily reduce your electricity expenses with little effort.
ZenLink
ZenLink is a local communication technology that offers significant advantages over alternatives. Multiple Hyper 2000 stacks automatically recognize and coordinate with each other when plugged into the outlets in your home, without relying on WiFi. Additionally, multiple Hyper modules identify the phase they are connected to. If they are on the same phase, they can be automatically bundled and controlled uniformly, saving a lot of time and costs. Hypers installed on the same phase automatically network and unify their total output (0-1800W). If they are installed on different phases, each Hyper operates independently and can reach its full power of 1200W. This intelligent phase detection ensures optimal power distribution and utilization in your power grid.
Anti-discharge technology
The Hyper 2000 is equipped with intelligent anti-thermal runaway technology. To protect the longevity and performance of your batteries, the Hyper 2000 uses AC and/or solar energy to keep the batteries at 5%. If neither AC nor solar energy is available, for example, during a nighttime power outage, the Hyper goes into sleep mode to reduce discharge. Intelligent anti-thermal runaway technology ensures that the battery maintains a safe and appropriate temperature during charging and discharging. This feature helps prevent damage from battery overheating and ensures the longevity and performance of your device. It also automatically charges with AC when the batteries are weak and sunlight is insufficient to avoid battery damage and ensure that you have a certain reserve.

Cost savings
The 1800W MPPT and 1200W AC bidirectional inverter functions of the Hyper 2000 in conjunction with the features of intelligent energy management can help you reduce costs in two ways. During the day, the Hyper converts the energy generated by the solar panels into AC power for the home, and the excess energy (which you can configure in the Zendure app or by using a compatible smart energy consumption meter) is used to charge the battery. At night, the Hyper 2000 converts the energy stored in the battery into AC power for household use. This reduces the waste of excess solar energy and helps you gain the greatest cost advantage from your system. Additionally, by using time-of-use (TOU), electricity costs are reduced by charging the battery when prices are low and using battery energy when prices are high.
Compatibility of solar panels
The Hyper 2000 has 4 sets of solar connectors and can be connected to up to 4 groups of solar panels. The recommended power range for each MPPT input is 350W-600W. The open circuit voltage (Voc) at each MPPT input must be less than 55V.
Battery compatibility
