Dekaseal MS-5 Adhesive by Dekalin

Dekaseal MS-5 is characterized as an MS polymer-based adhesive with high adhesion properties, designed for creating elastic connections between components. Its strong initial strength allows for reduced clamping times or even the complete elimination of clamps. Additionally, Dekaseal MS-5 can also be used as a sealant, especially when bonding similar materials or when mechanical fastening methods are employed.

Applications:

Elastic connections and seals in construction of trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and trucks.
Bonding of windows in buses, trains, caravans, and motorhomes.
Bonding of edge profiles on trailers made of aluminum or polyester.
Bonding of polyester parts with metal frames.

Properties:

Free from solvents, isocyanates, and PVC.
Very good UV resistance and aging resistance.
High initial strength and generally good adhesion without primer on various substrates.
Permanently elastic in the temperature range of -40°C to +120°C.
Neutral, odorless, and quick-curing.
Can be painted over after curing (wet on wet), without generally affecting the curing process.
Compatible with most industrial painting and coating systems, including alkyd resin and dispersion paints (compatibility testing is recommended).
