Balcony Power Plant Complete System
Balcony power plants offer a practical solution to generate part of the electricity needed for your household and thereby significantly reduce the costs of overall electricity consumption. This complete system includes two solar panels, a suitable micro-inverter including a DTU control unit, as well as an AC connection cable that connects the inverter to a socket. The modules are designed to be installed directly next to each other.
How does a balcony power plant work?
The balcony power plant is a space-saving solar system consisting of a solar module and a matching micro-inverter. The inverter is ideally attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected to the solar connector on the module. The AC cable is connected via the battery terminal of the inverter and routed directly to the appropriate socket. You can choose between a conventional Schuko socket and a Wieland feed socket, which is included in the delivery. No special settings are required to use the generated solar power in the household's power grid.

Balcony Power Plants in Germany
Currently, there are no specific laws in Germany regarding the generation of solar power for self-consumption. The limit of a maximum of 600W AC PV power can be fed into an existing socket circuit without overloading it. Compliance with the standards and obligations lies with the system operator.
